Gogglebox star Stephen Webb has shown off his impressive body transformation after hitting the gym.
The 52-year-old spent a decade sitting around watching TV for our entertainment - but it seems he’s dead set on proving that he’s no couch potato after he shared a clip of highlighting his gruelling workouts, as well as shots of the results of all his hard work.
Sharing the video, he wrote: “Back in the game! With a little help from my friends @alex__boito @drjefffoster who I’ll be chatting with next week about men’s health! Watch out for the video.”
The post was quickly flooded with praise for Webb, with one fan writing: “I love this.. there’s no quick fix but boy do you feel proud when you’ve put the work in! Amazing.”
Another said: “Amazing hard work, you look great.”
While a third commented: “Wow amazing you look like a new man well done.”
Fellow Gogglebox stars David and Shirley Griffiths also commented: “Well done Stephen mate, looking fab xx”
After 10-years on our screens, the Gogglebox legend announced that he and husband Daniel Lustig-Webb were stepping back from the Channel 4 show earlier this month.
He originally featured on the show with his former partner Christopher Steed, but was joined on the sofa by his mum, Pat, in 2017 after Christopher left the series.
In 2019, Pat left to make way for Daniel, who joined the series for its 13th season in 2019.
Stephen and Daniel's departure was announced by Gogglebox creators Studio Lambert and Channel 4, which explained in a statement that it was time for the pair to turn off the TV.
The statement said: "After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show.
"As one of the original Goggleboxers, Stephen has entertained the nation with his hilarious quips since the show first started in 2013, sharing his opinions on the best and biggest TV events of the last ten years.
"We would like to thank him and Daniel for being utterly brilliant contributors to the show, and we wish them well with their future projects."
Stephen confirmed the news in a statement of his own released on Instagram, writing: "After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.
"We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities."
