A plastic surgeon has weighed in after Jennifer Lawrence confirmed she’d had a ‘boob job’.
The Hunger Games star confirmed that she’d undergone breast surgery following the birth of her second child.
Lawrence has two young sons with her husband Cooke Maroney, a four-year-old named Cy and a toddler whose name she has chosen to keep private.
In a new interview with The Cut, Lawrence said: “I want to be a sexy mom.

“At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s**t together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s**t together.”
In a previous interview with The New Yorker, Lawrence opened up about how her body changed following the birth of her second child in March of last year.

“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” she said. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”
Lawrence told The New Yorker that she was filming a nude scene for an upcoming movie a year after giving birth, and was asked if she believes she would still have undergone the procedure if she wasn’t a ‘famous actress’, to which she replied: “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way. But I think yes.”
Plastic surgeon Omar Tillo of CREO Clinic told Bored Panda that undergoing breast surgery doesn’t have to mean a big change to how your body looks - and that in Lawrence’s case he said there was ‘no obvious, dramatic change’.
Tillo said: “People tend to associate breast surgery with going up several cup sizes, but that’s not what every woman wants.”
The surgeon went on to say there are plenty of patients who are happy with the size of their breasts but want to improve their shape or fullness.
“There’s a big difference between wanting larger breasts and wanting your breasts to look the way they used to,” he said.
“And you don’t necessarily need implants to achieve the latter.”

Patients can choose to go for implants, a lift, or both, he explained, before stressing that he wasn’t able to tell what procedure Lawrence had had done just by looking at photos.
But he added: “People are often surprised by how much difference a lift alone can make. You can change the shape of the breasts quite significantly without actually making them any bigger.”
Lawrence has previously discussed other cosmetic treatments, telling The New Yorker that she avoids fillers as they show on camera, but revealed she does get Botox but only a small amount as she ‘has to be able to use her forehead and to play people who don’t have access to celebrity dermatology’.
In an interview with Vogue, she said that she ‘can’t really get very much done’ so opts for ‘baby-Botox’ so she still has movement in her face.
However, it seems that she hasn’t ruled out further surgery down the line.
When asked if she’d had a facelift, she said: “No, but, believe me, I’m gonna.”
Lawrence has also ventured into the world of beauty herself, launching a new haircare company named Mes.
