Kevin Spacey was once considered one of the biggest male actors in the world, with an impressive estimated net worth of between $50 and $70 million.
This is a far cry from the American Beauty star's current reality, as the actor admits he's now homeless and is forced to go 'wherever the work is' following financial ruin.
The 66-year-old's fall from grace came in 2017 after actor and singer Anthony Rapp came forward with allegations that Spacey had sexually assaulted him at a party in 1986, when he was just 14 and Spacey was 26.
At the time of the allegations being made, Spacey was starring in Netflix's House of Cards, and he was dropped from his role immediately.

Spacey publicly apologised to Rapp, and although he was found not liable in the civil sexual battery case brought against him in 2020, many more men came forward with accusations of abuse at the hands of the actor.

In 2022, the actor faced criminal charges in the UK after the Crown Prosecution Service charged him with four counts of sexual assault against three men, plus a charge of 'causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.'
Later that year, seven more charges were added, relating to a fourth man.
Spacey was eventually acquitted on all charges; however, the actor said he was left owing 'many millions' in legal fees, with his entire net worth believed to have been wiped out by the scandal.
Now, the actor says his Baltimore home had to be auctioned off as a result of his 'not great' financial situation, with very little money coming in after work dried up following the allegations.
"I'm living in hotels, I'm living in Airbnbs. I'm going where the work is," he told the Telegraph.
"I literally have no home, that's what I'm attempting to explain."
He continued: "The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I've had very little coming in and everything going out."

Since being shunned by Hollywood, Spacey has worked in a number of smaller productions alongside first time filmmakers, as well as performing in a variety show in Cyprus.
"We are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work," he said.
"And that will happen in its right time. But I will also say what I think the industry seems to be waiting for is to be given permission by someone who is in some position of enormous respect and authority."
Despite his exile, Spacey appears optimistic he will soon be welcomed back into the fold to pick up his career where he left off.
"So, my feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call Evan [his manager] tomorrow, it will be over," he said.
"I will be incredibly honoured and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone."
