A week on from the death of legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, fans have been reminded of his most iconic moments, from throwing raw meat at fans, to performing for the late Queen Elizabeth II, and accidentally botching royal protocol.
The late rockstar, whose death last week has shaken fans across the globe, met the Queen for the first time when he was asked to perform at her 2002 Golden Jubilee celebrations.
At the time, Ozzy revealed his surprise at being invited to perform at the royal event, telling ITN: "I hardly think of myself as royal material. My wife told me, and I thought, 'you're pulling my leg'.
"I have got no idea [why I was invited] but I hope they realise what they've booked. I'm a pretty loud guy you know. I can't believe it. I'm thrilled to bits. I'm so excited."

Promising to be on his best behaviour, he added: "I'm hardly going to go and start ripping things' heads off and start urinating up the side of the wall and all."
Sharon and Ozzy later recapped their experience at the Palace on the opening episode of the second series of their reality show The Osbournes, where Sharon revealed her husband had accidentally broken royal protocol in the funniest of ways.
When bowing before the Queen, instead of calling her 'Your Highness,' he accidentally called her 'Your Holiness,' though the Queen didn't seem to mind as she didn't even acknowledge the blunder.
Ozzy was no stranger to the royal family, as in the early noughties, the Prince of Darkness struck up an unlikely royal friendship in the form of King Charles.

Charles, who at the time was the Prince of Wales, even went as far as sending Ozzy a bottle of scotch whiskey after his quad-biking accident in 2003.
The pair, who were both born in 1948, were later pictured sharing a laugh at the Prince's Trust 30th Birthday concert, in Clarence House in 2006, alongside wife Sharon Osbourne and X Factor star Chico.
Speaking to Talk TV, Sharon revealed: "When my husband got sick, he wrote to him. He’s the same age as Ozzy, so he gets it.
"And he said, you know, 'We’ve done very well so far, and this is just a little hurdle'."

In 2022, ahead of the King's coronation, Ozzy told the New York Post: "He’s a very, very nice man. He’s always treated me with the utmost respect. In fact, when I had my bike accident, he sent me a bottle of scotch. I wish him all the best."
Ozzy's death was announced by a rep for the Osbourne family last week, with them saying in a statement: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
He is survived by wife Sharon, their three children, Aimée, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39, as well as Ozzy's three other children from another marriage, Jessica, Louis and Elliot.
