Filming on the production of Spider-Man: Brand New Day was disrupted after leading star Tom Holland was injured on the set.
The 29-year-old reportedly suffered a mild concussion which has resulted in him taking a bit of a break from filming while he recovers, as the last thing someone who's had a bump on the head needs is the stunt work that comes with being Spider-Man.
Holland was injured last Friday (19 September) in an accident that resulted in the actor being taken to hospital, and the general advice for people with a concussion is to avoid any physical or mental strain for a bit.
Fortunately, the injury was not too serious and nobody else was hurt, and fans have been sending in messages wishing Holland well and hoping he has a speedy recovery.

Naturally, the loss of Spider-Man himself for a few days has interrupted the filming schedule but the movie doesn't come out until next year so fans of the webslinger shouldn't be too scared about his next cinematic appearance being delayed.
As for the injury which gave Holland a mild concussion, The Sun claims a source said that the accident occurred when 'a line snapped on a pull ring' and the actor got 'a bump on his bonce'.
This source claimed that the accident 'wasn't as bad as people think', which sounds encouraging for Holland's wellbeing, and said that it was a 'minor setback' on a production that had otherwise been 'going great guns'.
Apparently, that means it was all going very well.

Holland recently told LADbible he'd been a major part of designing the Spidey suit for Brand New Day, but kept shtum on specific comic inspirations.
Possibly to avoid bolstering his reputation as the Marvel star who keeps accidentally giving away spoilers for their superhero movies during interviews.
Holland also said he was focusing on the current movie when asked how long he was going to play Spider-Man for, though given the success of his previous three films it's likely that studio executives would like him to stay around for as long as possible, even if Holland did joke that he thought the producers might have got 'absolutely sick of me' at times.
He said: "I think with anything, it's all about what's in front of you, and right now what's in front of us is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and focusing on making that movie worthy of the last film.

"I have been actively sifting through the internet and trying to best understand what it is that the fans want from a Spider-Man movie, and that's been my driving force in these pitch meetings.
"I think the producers, at times were like, absolutely sick of me, but I think it's really important, because we make these movies for [the fans]."
Here's hoping he's feeling better after the accident.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently scheduled to be released in cinemas on 31 July, 2026.
LADbible has contacted Disney and Tom Holland's representatives for comment.
