Actor Tom Holland was reportedly rushed to hospital after suffering a head injury on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The 29-year-old is said to have hurt himself on Friday (19 September) morning while shooting a stunt for the upcoming film, which is set to be released in July next year.

The NHS explains that this is a temporary brain injury that is often caused by a direct blow to the head, which can leave people with symptoms such as headaches and nausea.
A concussion can affect the normal functioning of the brain and experts advise avoiding any physical or mental stresses while recovering.

As a result of Holland's head injury, filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been put on pause.
His dad, comedian Dominic Holland, confirmed the BAFTA-winning star would be taking a break from the project 'for a while', according to The Sun.

Holland recently told LADbible that he played an integral part in designing Spider-Man's suit for the new film, which he was seen sporting in a behind-the-scenes video released by Sony a few weeks back.
In the one-minute clip showing what went down during the first day on set, fans got a quick glimpse of some of the daring stunts that Holland is performing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, such as him balancing on top of what appears to be a tank as it speeds down a busy street.
After wrapping up a shot of this scene, Holland exclaims: "That felt sick!"

He also commented that putting Spider-Man's suit on 'feels different this time, somehow' in the video.
Holland says: "It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man. It’s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow.
"It’s also the first time we ever had fans on set day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them.
"We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right, no pressure."
LADbible has contacted Sony Pictures for comment.
