The founder of Fake Taxi has revealed why he operates from Prague, instead of the UK.
You'd have to be chronically offline or living under a rock to be unaware of who the adult entertainment brand are, with the group gradually growing in stature over the years.
Speaking to LADbible earlier this month was none other than the man behind Fake Taxi, who explained everything about his journey, from selling all sorts of products before finding his footing in the porn industry.
Entrepreneur Jonathan 'JT' Todd co-founded YouPorn back in 2006, one of the internet's first major NSFW 'tube' sites, eventually reaching 370 million monthly visits.

After the site's success, which ranked it among the top 30 most visited sites in the world, JT decided to venture into something else as it was 'getting too big and too hard to handle'.

He began a pay site network, with the shining light being Fake Taxi, as he described it as 'the jewel in our crown', formed using all the knowledge he picked up from owning YouPorn.
"We knew that it's a lot cheaper to film scenes in a car," he pointed out.
While Fake Taxi was based in the UK for its first three years of existence, the operation had to be moved to Prague, Czech Republic for one reason.
"It's not illegal to film people being paid to have sex in public," he said of Prague - which makes sense if you think of the entire premise of Fake Taxi.
The businessman went on: "You know, we were running out of performers to film in the UK. There’s not that many UK girls.
"So we were having to fly a lot of the European girls into the UK to shoot, so it kind of made more sense filming everything over in the Czech Republic."
When it comes to the personality of actors that are casted, he said that 'character' is key as they want viewers 'to believe that it's real'.

JT compared it to going to the movies, explaining: "You just want it to be real, and it’s like going to the movies. You want that movie to be in your mind as you’re watching it."
Surprisingly, the cars they use are real taxis, as JT admitted that if they're 'lucky', the group goes through one taxi a year.
"They don’t get worn out. The worse they are, the better it is for us. As long as there’s not too many bangs and aches and too many noises when you’re driving, as long as the suspension is fine, it’s good," he highlighted.
It's only 'once they start making noises' when they have to look for a detail, noting: "The sound editors, they hate it when they’re editing and they’ve got a squeak."
