After months of waiting, Lionsgate has been kind enough to let us see what John Wick 3 will look like, and it looks awesome.
t's been announced that the upcoming movie will be called Parabellum, and the film will be released on 17 May this year.

The announcement was made on Twitter with a teaser shot that features John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves, looking typically moody as he stares through the rain-soaked window of the Continental Hotel in New York City.
In the image, the hotel's logo is backwards and the word 'Excommunicado' is also inversely written on the pane of glass.
This is a reference to the fact that Wick has been banished from the hotel, which had acted as a sort of safe space or even ground for members of NYC's varied criminal underclasses.

John got himself ejected from the hotel for killing the Italian mobster kingpin Santino D'Antonio within the confines of the hotel.
Because this is a John Wick film (that is to say, very violent) the name itself is a reference to a Luger, which is a type of semi-automatic pistol.
You'd have to imagine that John Wick knows his way around one of those.

It is also Latin for 'prepare for war', so that's something.
Chad Stahelski, the series' director, told Entertainment Weekly (EW) that this next film 'goes slightly north' of the previous one with regards to body count.
Also starring alongside Reeves in this latest film will be Halle Berry. Of Berry's character, Sofia, Reeves told EW: "She [Sofia] has a past with John. I end up going to find her to see if she can help me.

Much like Wick - who embarked on a murderous vendetta after his dogs were killed - Berry's character also has a great love for our canine chums.
Reeves continued: "Whereas John's puppy was symbolic of his wife, Halle's two dogs are symbolic of someone she's lost."
High body count, loves of doggo love, ominous glances? What more do you want?
