Although Bam Margera hasn't filmed any new scenes for Jackass: Best and Last, he will still feature in the film through older, archival footage.
The 46-year-old was famously ousted from Jackass Forever in 2021 for violating a wellness agreement related to his substance abuse.
This led to a major wrongful termination lawsuit and public feuds between Margera, Johnny Knoxville, and director Jeff Tremaine.
While the likes of Steve-O have expressed relief that Margera is currently in a much healthier place, he remains cut off from the core group and declined to film new scenes or participate in the movie's marketing.

His parents, Phil and April, however, did attend the film's premiere to show support for the franchise's final farewell.

Speaking to PauseRewind’s Elizabeth Stanton at the premiere on Wednesday night, the pair was asked about the Jackass stunt that still annoys them to this day - even though it never made the cut.
“The first time they did the jet ski, they did it in my pool. You didn’t see that one. You saw the one that was done in the lap pool in Malibu. But the stones and the gas and the oil and what happened to my pool was a major pain!” April explained. “It didn’t even make the cut!”
“It’s been all fun. We’ve all had a good time. They all had a great time, I’m proud of all of them. They did such an amazing job. I can’t believe it’s all these years later, and we’re still doing ‘Jackass,’ a show that I’m thinking, ‘How long is this gonna last?’” she added, as their house was often used for many pranks.

“We lived through Jackass. We lived through Jackass: The Movie. We lived through Viva La Bam, which I don’t know how we did that.
“I’ve tried to explain things that are in our house, like trap doors and things, to people who come and fix our house. Like, ‘What’s wrong with your baseboards?’ Oh that’s from the ice skaters. It’s hard to explain.”
April went on to call the cast a ‘family of people who truly care about each other’.
Noting the loss of Ryan Dunn, who died in 2011 following a drunk driving car crash, she added: “I think that’s an emotional thing for them as well. He’s part of the cast and always will be.”
Around 40 percent of Jackass: Best and Last consists of archive material and BTS footage, while ‘the last’ sees the team performing their final batch of painful and ridiculous pranks.
Jackass: Best and Last is out in cinemas now.
