If you've been hanging on for Black Friday hoping for a pre-Christmas saving on XBox consoles, you might have been left feeling disappointed today.
While there are some great discounts to be found on Xbox games and accessories, there's nothing in the way of a console discount on the official store as of yet.
Some fans have accused Microsoft and Xbox of 'ignoring' Black Friday, and have pointed out you can currently buy a new PS5 for less than an Xbox Series S thanks to the seasonal discounts.
Don't believe us? Just look at the prices below.
An XBox Series S from the official XBox store will set you back £299.99 (512GB) or £349.99 (1TB), compared to the PS5 825GB digital edition which has been slashed to £294.99 in the sale, down from £429.99.

So why are XBox fans disappointed? Well, the whole point of the Series S was to provide an entry level console which managed to be the cheapest on the market.
Now that PlayStation has massively dropped prices for Black Friday, they have lowered the entry point for what many believe is just as good a console.
Not only is it cheaper, but there's also nearly 300GB more of room on these digital-only consoles where storage space is key.
It's not the only discount to be found.
The 1TB Xbox Series X is £499.99, versus PlayStation's Black Friday deal on the PS5 1TB for £389.99, reduced from £479.99.
Fans are still hoping Xbox might come through last minute with a deal or something for Cyber Monday, else many people may be opting for the PS5 instead.
At that price it would be rude not to!

Many games are cross-platform too, with relatively few console exclusives nowadays.
One confused Redditor wrote: "Are they trying to just completely give up the holidays on a silver platter to PS and Nintendo?"
"So happy I got my Series X and PS5 (disc version) for $350 each on Black Friday in 2022 and 2023 respectively," added another.
With the increase in price for Xbox's Game Pass too, many people may be persuaded to make the jump thanks to these Black Friday bargains.
