Executives on the reality TV show The Block have accused one of the winning bidders of 'attempting to cheat' the show.
Emese Fajk bid $4.3 million to purchase Jimmy and Tam's property on the latest season of the programme and ended up winning the auction.
However, in the time since that fateful day, Channel 9 says the 28-year-old hasn't sent the money for the home.
It's left Jimmy and Tam devastated because the settlement period has now passed; meaning the original contract is void.
Jimmy told A Current Affair: "It's something no one ever saw coming, no one ever expected, but it's something we now have to deal with. We've pretty much been conned."
An investigation has been launched after Ms Fajk has allegedly sent screenshots of bank transfers to the network to show she's kept up her side of the bargain, however Channel 9 insists no money has exchanged hands.
Ms Fajk has faced similar allegations in the past.
She was taken to court by the owners of the Mavi Surf Hotel in Costa Rica, who alleged she had not paid for a three night stay in 2019.
A Current Affair reports the court ordered Ms Fajk to pay US $490 to the hotel owners.
When A Current Affair asked for a statement from the 28-year-old, she simply said: "I don't know what happened, I've paid for everything."
According to 9News, Ms Fajk also told A Current Affair that 'things have become rocky and messy and that she's made mistakes'.
She went on to insist she paid for the house on The Bid, and says she still hopes to own it.
