Ex-wife of Coldplay woman’s husband says everyone said the same thing to her after

The ex-wife of Kristin Cabot's husband has spoken out following reports of their divorce.

In arguably this year's most viral moment, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was spotted getting close with HR executive Cabot at a Coldplay concert in July.

In the footage, Bryon and Cabot can be seen seemingly embracing when the camera pans to them, leading them to duck out of view.

Even frontman Chris Martin commented on the situation, joking: “Oh, look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they’re just really shy.”

Of course, it quickly went viral on social media, and following the incident, Astronomer confirmed that both Cabot and Bryon had resigned from their roles.

However, recent updates have seen Cabot file for divorce from her husband, Andrew Cabot, who has since issued a statement of his own.

According to a spokesperson, Cabot, who is the CEO of Privateer Rum, the pair had been ‘privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert'.

They told PEOPLE: "Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening. Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued."

Amid the divorce news, Cabot’s ex-wife has given her opinion on the situation, though it's important to note that, as she is his ex-wife, her comments should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Julia Cabot married the CEO in 2014, and they were divorced four years later in 2018.

She claimed that she wasn't surprised that the two were going their separate ways, telling The Daily Mail: “I got loads of texts from people who heard what happened and 99% of them said the same word: karma.”

Julia said she'd texted her ex-husband after the incident at the concert, who she says responded to the scandal by saying: “Her life is nothing to do with me.”

She further claimed that he is ‘not a nice person’, explaining: “Now something not nice [has] happened to him. I got loads of texts from people with that word: karma. It was like: what you give, you get.”

Julia also said that Andrew was more concerned about money, as she alleged: "He’s saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money."
