Glastonbury fans were delighted to learn that today's (27 June) secret set would be performed by Lewis Capaldi, with the singer returning to the festival after a two year break from music.
The identity of the secret set performer had been kept under wraps, with much speculation that whomever the act was they would be making a comeback appearance.
It's been two years since Capaldi lost his voice on the Glastonbury stage, only to have the audience step up and sing with him throughout his set in heartwarming scenes.

The Glastonbury crowd's affection for Capaldi was clear, and the singer was seen to be emotional on the stage as thousands of people sang for him.
He thanked the fans for singing with him and told them 'it really does mean the world', but said he was going to be taking an indefinite break from touring.

He cancelled his 'Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent' tour, and in his message to fans, he 'still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's'.
However, he's made a stellar return to the stage as he opened with 'Before You Go' and told the crowd: "Glastonbury, it's so good to be back."

He also said he wanted to 'finish what I couldn't finish the first time round on this stage', prompting significant cheers from the audience.
"I'm not going to say much up here today because if I do I think I'll probably start crying, but it's just amazing to be here with you all and I can't thank you all enough for coming out and coming and seeing me," Capaldi told the Glastonbury crowd.
"Second time's a charm on this one everybody. We're gonna do this, just a short set today but I just wanted to come and kind of finish what I couldn't finish the first time around on this stage.

"I want to thank everybody who's asking me for giving me the opportunity to do so. Also this was like the worst kept f**king secret so I don't know who's been f**king telling people."

The crowd started chanting 'oh Lewis Capaldi' and it's evident just how much Glastonbury loves the singer and the open arms with which he was received upon his return to the stage after two years out.
Music fans have been saying that Capaldi's comeback had an 'absolutely deserved massive crowd', while someone else reckoned that they twigged onto his presence a bit earlier after spotting his set list sellotaped to a speaker.
Capaldi recently released a new song, 'Survive', which appears to address some of the things he's been through, and before performing it today he told the Glastonbury crowd that getting back onto the festival stage had 'been my f**king goal'.
He's certainly achieved that in marvellous fashion.
