Netflix viewers have been left in shock after a comedian fought three 14-year-olds live on air with Adam Sandler standing aside to watch.

This bizarre incident marked the finale of the weekly Netflix series Live with John Mulaney, a chat show with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Several weeks ago, Mulaney revealed that, following the viral debate around whether 100 men could take one gorilla in a fight, his writer’s room started a second debate.

Could three teenage boys take John Mulaney in a fight?

While the 100 men vs one gorilla battle has stayed hypothetical, the Netflix series decided to make the fight between Mulaney and three teenage boys real.

Mulaney made a call out a month ago in which he called for anyone with ‘access to a 14-year-old boy’ to reach out.

Over the following three weeks, the boys set to scrap Mulaney in front of his celebrity guests were revealed, and last night, the greatest fight since the Rumble in the Jungle took place in a Los Angeles sound stage.

With Adam Sandler and Sean Penn watching on, Mulaney proceeded to fight the three 14-year-olds who walked out in full suits, rugby scrum craps, with a combined weight of 477 pounds.

Mulaney even posted a picture showing that the crew had set up moneylines to allow them to bet on the fight, with the boys being -150 favourites.

Clearly deciding that punching a 14-year-old in the face wasn’t a good look, the fight ended up seeing punching, kicking, biting, and eye-gouging banned – with the victor being decided by pinfall or submission.

The bizarre spectacle had fans rushing to social media to talk about it, with one posting on X: “How do I explain John Mulaney shoving a [14] year old boy to the ground while Adam Sandler watches to a normal person?”

Ultimately the gaggle of children were victorious, toppling John Mulaney to the ground and pinning him.

This led Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to come out and perform to celebrate the victory of the boys, called Ben, Jacob, and Adarsh.

One fan posted: “Watching John Mulaney lose to children in a wrestling match, immediately preceded by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is the kind of sh*t late night television is all ABOUT man.”

Another said: “Seeing John Mulaney being pinned by three [14] year olds, while Adam Sandler laughs in his face, just for bone thugs-n-harmony to step out singing the crossroads is actually insane.”

Ultimately the show has finally answered one of the internet’s biggest questions.

Next stop: 100 John Mulaneys vs a Gorilla.

Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney (including the episode in which he fights three children) is available to watch on Netflix now.
