Steve-O says he still beats himself up about how he broke up with Stacey Solomon

Steve-O has opened up about his former relationships and how they still haunt him to this day.

The iconic Jackass star's autobiography gets into some of his darkest moments and revealed his relationship to Stacey Solomon is still on his mind.

They met back in 2015 when they were filming The Jump for Channel 4.

Steve-O explained in his book, A Hard Kick In The Nuts, how it was so intense at the beginning, however, he started to pull back.

"I was smitten, I lavished her with attention, I got what I wanted and then I broke it off," he said, according to The Sun.

“I had become not only part of her life, I’d become part of her kids’ lives too. And then — poof — I was gone”.

He said this was his modus operandi back in the day as he would get bored with his sexual partners fairly quickly.

"I’d meet some woman, pour on the charm to convince her I really cared about her (which I invariably thought I did) sleep with her a few times, then lose interest and ghost. Wash, rinse, repeat," he wrote.

But he admits his relationship with Stacey was different because she let him meet her children and form bonds with them.

While he might lament the way things ended and wish he could go back in time and change things, he's at least comforted by the idea that Stacey doesn't hate him.

“To this day, I still beat myself up about the way it went down," he writes in A Hard Kick In The Nuts.

“Ironically, I don’t think Stacey does.

"We aren’t in touch any more, but she has corresponded with my family and seems to bear no ill toward me.

“She seems to be a happy person who can go through life without gigantic grudges, even when they might be totally justified. What a freak.”

While it might not have worked out between these two, it seems like they've found their happily ever afters.

Steve-O is currently engaged to stylist Lux Wright, while Stacey married Joe Swash earlier this year.

Solomon and Swash had been dating for six years before they tied the knot in July.

The two made their relationship public in January 2016, according to the Metro, however they had met years earlier when Stacey was crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010.
