A woman filmed a video for the viral '$100 or a date with me' trend unaware that she was talking to a famous Hollywood actor.
For those who don't sink hours of their day into doomscrolling through social media platforms, the trend involves content creators filming themselves approaching strangers in the street and asking the straightforward question: "Would you rather $100 or to go on a date with me."
Given that most of the people included in the videos are usually pretty confused by the question being posed to them, the videos can often be pretty awkward, but for TikTokers Ruby Hexx and Ivy Fox, they would end up with a pretty iconic clip after unknowingly flagging down a celebrity to interview.

In the clip, Ruby and Ivy approach a man in a rather wealthy looking district and ask the question 'Would you rather $100 or a date with us two?'
The man then turns round, revealing that he's none other than actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster, best known for being the extremely young looking kid in 2003 rom-com Love Actually as well as Jojen Reed from Game of Thrones and, more recently, The Queen's Gambit and Wolf Hall.
However, neither Ruby or Ivy recognise that they're talking to a celebrity and patiently wait to find out if he'd prefer a three-way date or the equivalent of £90.
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old actor pauses for a moment to think about the question, as he was most likely expecting to be asked for a selfie or an autograph instead of date.

He then replies with a diplomatic: "Oh, I'm in a relationship, so I'd take the $100, no offence!"
As the pair begin to walk away, he shouts after them: "But I'm also English so dollars are no use to me. So I'd have neither."

Bargaining with the Nanny McPhee actor, one of the girls suggests: "£90?" to which Brodie-Sangster agrees: "All right, 90 quid then."
It's at this point where the dots begin to connect, leading to one of the women asking: "Just out of interest, are you an actor?"

After Brodie-Sangster confirms that he is an indeed an actor, without revealing his name (how humble) the pair attempt to work out where they recognise him from and ask if he was one of the kids from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
"No. I went to the premiere but I wasn't in it," he replies, before the interview ends.
The actor has since tied the knot with Talulah Riley, after meeting on 2021 series Pistol, while a scroll through Ruby's TikTok reveals she is still looking to find 'the one' in her street interviews.
