Jennifer Aniston Scared A Bunch Of Friends Fans At Central Perk

Friends is one of the most iconic sitcoms ever made. Though most of us settle for a hungover binge of the classic comedy, real fans visit Warner Bros studios to see where the magic happened.

Well, a bunch of fans got more than they bargained for when Jennifer Aniston - who played Rachel in the show - jumped out at them from behind the famous sofa during a set visit.

The 50-year-old was a guest host on The Ellen Degeneres Show when she decided to check out her old stomping ground.

Introducing the clip, she said: "So, you probably know that Ellen's show is filmed on the Warner Bros lot and I spent about 10 years here on a show called Friends.

"And the set is actually still here, it's a part of the Warner Bros studio tour. So I thought while I was still here, I would go and take a visit. Let's see what happened."

It then cuts to a group of fans being led on to the set for coffee shop Central Perk, taking a seat on the orange sofa. They're then asked who their favourite character in the show was, to which they reply: "Ross."

Awkward.

Then, as they pose for a photograph, Aniston jumps up from behind the sofa and shouts: "Ross?!"

The shocked fans then all scream, hysterically. As you probably would.

But the Marley and Me star isn't done just yet. The camera then cuts to another pair of unsuspecting fans who are posing for photos. And once again Aniston pops up, this time offering them a refill on their coffee mugs.

The best - and saddest - thing about this whole set-up is that every time the tour guides ask the fans who their favourite character is, no one, not one, says Rachel.

However, after being confronted by the actor, one of the fans tries to claw the embarrassment back, pleading: "I was gonna say you."

Of course you were.

It then cuts back to the chat show, with the fans all watching on from a booth at the back of the studio.

Welcoming them, Aniston jokes: "Now that you guys are here, you get to watch your third favourite friend. I'm kidding. Oh, this is amazing. Like I said, welcome, you guys, this is gonna be fun - I hope."

But Aniston isn't the first guest host to take over the reins from Ellen. Earlier this month Robert Downey Jr. sat in the hot seat and also took the opportunity to surprise a fan.
