Part Four Of Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Landing On Netflix On 31 December

Part four of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will drop on 31 December, Netflix has confirmed.

Part four will also mark the final instalment of the show, with a teaser trailer telling us: "Get ready for the final chapter."

We're told in the new teaser that 'there is another war brewing' - not that this seems to bother our titular hero, who says with a smile that she's enjoying 'being back in action'.

"My name is Sabrina Spellman," she adds.

"And I will never sign it away."

Sharing the news on social media, the streaming service said: "Spooky News: Part 4 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comes to Netflix on 31 December."

The teaser and release date have proven to be bittersweet for fans, with many excited for a new fix of the show, while others are sad to see it end.

One commented: "OMG!!!!!! Yessssssssssssss."

Someone else said: "Goodbye Sabrina!!!"

A third begged: "Please don't cancel this show, it's been amazing the whole way through."

Earlier this year, Netflix confirmed it was calling time on the show, saying it would come to an end after four seasons.

Fans were promised a 'spooky, sexy and supernatural series finale', with the official Twitter account for the show adding: "It all comes down to one last Chilling Adventure. Our final chapter is coming later this year. Coven forever."

Developer, exec producer and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said while it was devastating that the show wouldn't continue for more exciting journeys, he was proud of the work the cast and crew had done.

"Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from Day One," he said.

"The cast, beginning with Kiernan [Shipka] as everyone's favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show.

"I'm also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can't wait for everyone to see Part Four."
