While we’ve all got our go-to streaming platform, there’s one with some pretty major shows that often seems to fly under the radar.

Sure, Netflix has got the Menendez Brothers, Disney+ has all the Marvel stuff, and Prime Video has Clarkson’s Farm, but you could be missing out on ‘one of the best comedies on TV’.

That’s because Apple TV is about to drop a second season of one of its popular series that people are urged to binge-watch beforehand.

With the 100 percent-rated Gary Oldman thriller having just had its finale, it’s time for the return of Shrinking.

The comedy drama landed on the platform last year and stars the likes of Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, and Heidi Gardner.

Segel also helped create the show alongside Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein and Bill Lawrence.

Shrinking follows the How I Met Your Mother star as a grieving therapist who decides to become way more involved in his clients’ lives, and goes pretty off the book by telling them exactly what he thinks.

And as viewers rave about it online, the series has an impressive 91 percent average on the Tomatometer, with a decent 87 percent from audiences on the Popcornmeter to match.

One user on X shared their excitement for the upcoming season as they urged: “#Shrinking is one of the best shows on TV now. Watch it if you haven’t already!”

Others said they’ve ‘been waiting’ for a second season as the praised the ‘amazing’ show.

Many reckon Apple TV is home to ‘the best TV shows’ as they point out Shrinking is joined by the likes of Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, Silo and Severance.

One also wrote: “Shrinking on Apple TV has taken the cake for my favourite show.”

While another admitted: “I almost gave up on it, thinking it was going to be too sad, but it’s hysterical. Season 2 is coming out this month.”

Others echoed: “Okay, hold me down and tie me up! There's a new season of SHRINKING on Apple TV. If you haven't seen S1, I do highly recommend it, especially if you are going through some s**t.”

Over on Reddit, another said: “I LOVED this show. So good. The cast is awesome. I didn’t realise how hilarious Harrison Ford is.”

Many described it as a ‘warm hug’ as it tackles ‘weird real-life situations while still being a fun show’.

As another fan added: “I still think this is the role Harrison Ford was born for, yeah that’s quite the claim but he made me Laugh out loud more than anything in the past 10 years.”

Shrinking is available to watch on Apple TV, with the second season premiering on 16 October.
