South Park released behind the scenes pictures of viral episode that showed Trump in bed with Satan

The episode caused quite a stir

South Park have shocked fans after revealing some behind-the-scenes shots from their viral episode featuring Donald Trump and the Devil.

Writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone pulled no punches in a recent episode of the long running animated comedy, inspiring the sort of backlash that the show has become famous for over the last 26 years.

For those of you who haven't seen episode one of Season 27, it largely focuses on Trump's second presidential term and it's almost serious at first, as he spars with Mark Carney, prime minister of Canada, over trade tariffs.

However, it then takes a classic South Park turn, as Trump gets into bed with Satan, who asks him about the Epstein list, something the Trump administration have been promising for some time now, despite Elon Musk and many others' claims that the president himself will appear in the files.

The 79-year-old then attempts to seduce Satan and reveals a particularly small penis, which many people would assume had been animated, but the behind-the-scenes shots show another reality (no, they didn't actually get an image of Trump's crown jewels).

Posting on Instagram, South Park revealed that the scene was put together using a Trump lookalike and Trey holding up a penis seemingly made of plasticine, to create a realistic look in an otherwise completely animated show.

Fans were shocked that it had been put together in this way, with several surprised that the creators hadn't used AI in the detrimental depiction.

One said: "The fact that this wasn’t AI makes this even more epic."

Another commented: "A concerning amount of people thought this was AI I’m so glad you guys are pulling out the receipts."

A third wrote: "Matt Stone and Trey Parker, they are the goats. I think I'm gonna watch South Park now."

It's perhaps no surprise that so much effort went into the episode, given it is reportedly valued at $30 million, and that's even before the seemingly inevitable legal complaints from the White House, after they were left furious with how the president was presented.

Spokesperson Taylor Rogers said: "This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.

"President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.

"The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offense’ [sic] content, but suddenly they are praising the show.

"Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows."

However, it doesn't seem as if the creators are all that bothered, after they issued a scathing response recently at a Comic Con event.
