The Inbetweeners have been confirmed to be returning for a reboot, with the show’s creators releasing a statement saying that the boys are back.
This was announced yesterday following a report stating that their production company had struck a deal to bring The Inbetweeners back in a movie, TV show, or stage production.
Many fans will be left wondering who will be returning for the TV show, with all four of the original cast reported to be returning, despite their statements over the years on a possible reboot.
Outside of the core four, arguably the most anticipated name to return would be Emily Atack, who has had one of the most successful careers of all the supporting characters from the TV show.

Atack played Charlotte Hinchcliffe, the one-time girlfriend of lead character Will and the most popular girl in school.
Atack left the show after the first episode of season three with her character in the year above the core four boys and going to university, not appearing in either of the follow-up.

She has gone on to star in shows like Rivals and appeared on I’m A Celebrity, coming second to Harry Redknapp.
Despite this though, Atack was reportedly taken off the wildly unpopular Channel 4 reunion special at the ‘11th hour’.

During COVID-19 she was asked about whether it was possible to get a Zoom reunion of the characters, to which she said: “No, probably not.”
She went on to add: “They’re all married with kids now. This is the funny thing, when I was doing the show I was so young… when we all see each other’s it’s nice, I’ve worked with Blake [Harrison] a few times and it’s lovely.
“They’re all married with kids though, they’ve got so much going on.”
The actor was also asked about a possible Inbetweeners comeback in a Capital Radio interview last year following rumours that it might be returning.

She said: “Oh I haven't heard about [an Inbetweeners comeback], I don't know. We'd all be quite a lot older now. What was quite funny was when we filmed the series I was only 17, I'd just left school, but the boys were well into... I think they were in their late twenties, early thirties.”
Atack also bravely spoke recently on a BBC documentary Asking For It? about the fact she is sexually harassed daily, receiving numerous sexually explicit messages.
She said: "It is not the behaviour of victims that has to change, it is the behaviour of the perpetrators. The law is not enough; the focus should be on changing mindsets."
Early reports have stated however that Atack is expected to return to The Inbetweeners, however this is not yet confirmed.
Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, the creators of the show announced in a statement: “It’s incredibly exciting to be plotting more adventures for our four favourite friends (ooh, friends)”.
