Jeremy Clarkson has lifted the lid on Clarkson's Farm newcomer Harriet Cowan who has been introduced in the latest season.
The fourth season of Clarkson's Farm features farmer and nurse Cowan, 24, as a temporary replacement for fan favourite Kaleb Cooper while he embarked on a stage tour across the UK.
Taking over duties for a few weeks, it wasn't long before she formed a farming friendship with Clarkson, 65.

The motor-head said her work around the farm was 'brilliant', and despite the 41-year age gap, he sort of now understands a bit more about modern-day social media culture.
"It was a surprise to me," Clarkson admitted to The Sun. "I think a lot of people, certainly of my generation, look at kids on TikTok and think, ‘What is the point of this meaningless existence they’re all having?’

"But then she explained that it was a way she can connect with other people when she’s doing something, because it is lonely. It suddenly made sense.
"Even though she’s only a kid, she knows people who have killed themselves.

"I thought it was a poignant moment. The problem with these young farmers is they have no money.
"Their friends go to the pub at night and they can’t afford to go, and their friends go on holiday, but they can’t afford to go."

On her future, Clarkson added that 'we don’t just bring characters in because the TV show needs it'.
"You bring them in because you really need them," he said.

"I loved Harriet to bits and I wish her all the very best. She was fantastic to have around.
"But the truth is, we’ve got Kaleb, and he might go off and do Celebrity Love Island or something, and if I can’t manage, I’ll call Harriet in a heartbeat."
Viewers have also taken really well to Harriet, as one person tweeted: "Watched two episodes of the new Clarkson's Farm series. Still one of the best things on tv and loving the new (better) female Kaleb. Very impressive all round skills."
"Clarkson's Farm Season 4. Got us in stitches. Harriet Cowan is an amazing lady," another added.
"@JeremyClarkson Season 4 Episode 2 of Clarkson's Farm is great. Start a farm equipment review show with you, Caleb and Harriet. Basically the same as May/Hammond," penned a third.

Amid the praise for Cowan, Kaleb appears to be frustrated with Clarkson who seemingly can't manage without him.
“He honestly thought, ‘How on Earth has he been doing this for four years and you’re still so useless you can’t manage on your own?’” Clarkson admitted.
“That was what was going through his head — you’re literally the most incompetent farmer I’ve ever seen.
“I go away for two weeks and you make such a mess of things that you had to bring someone else in.

“It’s my absolute goal to become so good at it, I don’t need the annoying foetus."
Clarkson's Farm season four is available to watch on Prime Video, with two additional episodes releasing on 30 May, followed by the last two on 6 June.
