Vin Diesel has revealed when part two of the final Fast & Furious film will be released.

Following the release of Part One, which *cough cough* has already generated $236.4 million (AUD 351.7m) at the box office, the actor has taken to social media to share part two’s release date.

“April 4th 2025… is less than 22 months away.

"I love how expressive and collaborative all of the actors in our franchise feel coming into the World’s Saga,” Diesel began.

“Jason [Momoa] wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene stealing character that the world won’t forget.

"Thank you all for showing up like you always do…. 7 billion means nothing if it doesn’t represent the true feeling of family and loyalty.”

Diesel included an image of a helicopter in somewhere very cold, indicating that family is about to get icy.

He continued to inform fans that the final chapter was well underway, promising an epic conclusion to the hugely-popular franchise.

“For those who didn’t know the Fast X was just part one, know that part two is going to be an effort from our fast family and studio like you have never seen,” he said.

Many fans were elated with the big news, as one penned: “Wow, on my birthday! What an amazing gift! Thank you.”

Another said: "Beautifully said brother."

While another even suggested: "LETS DO 10 MORE MOVIES."

Along with part two's release date being announced, Dwanye 'The Rock' Johnson also recently revealed his return to the Fast universe with his very own Hobbs spin-off movie.

In his announcement, the 51-year-old shared there's no longer bad blood between him and Diesel after their long-running feud.

“Last summer Vin and I put all the past behind us," he penned via his social media account alongside a video.

"We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve - and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love."

In the four-minute clip, the Baywatch star revealed why he would return to the franchise, which according to him, is primarily attributed to resolving the feud.

“Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, you know, we’ve been like brothers for years, and despite having our differences, when you lead with the idea, number one, resolve, but then also you just think about the future, and you think about plans that are much bigger than ourselves and those bigger plans are the bigger build-outs."

Ah, cheers to this new era.
