McDonald’s is bringing back its ‘best every burger’ but there’s a bit of a catch.
While the beloved fast-food chain regularly does a shake-up of the menu, the upcoming change will see an item introduced to only a specific part of the UK.
I know, I know, better get the violins out now, lads.
Next Wednesday (30 July) has some summery introductions to restaurants across the nation with special drinks and returning favourites.

But while its brand-new burger The Big Arch will be sticking around everywhere, items like the Chicken Big Mac and Big Tasty will only be available for certain customers.
And the one that might just break some McDonald’s lovers’ hearts, the Steakhouse Stack is set to come back as a regional exclusive.

Last added to the menu in May, the burger has regularly been praised as Maccies’ best.
It’s made up of two 100 per cent British and Irish beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, lettuce and a black peppercorn sauce all slapped up between a freshly toasted glazed sesame topped bun.

Sounds delicious, right?
Well, here’s the biggie, you’ll have to visit one of the restaurants in Tyne & Tees as that’s the only region where the Steakhouse Stack will be added to the menu at the end of the month.
Similarly, the Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon will only be available in East Anglia.

That toasted bun is loaded with a 100 per cent beef patty, bacon (if ordered), cheese made with Emmental cheese, onions, tomatoes and a smoky flavoured sauce.

But if you’re in neither of those regions, you’ll be able to get something they can’t: the Chicken Big Mac.
Yeah, the chicken version of the legend is returning to everywhere excluding Tyne & Tees and East Anglia.
The end of July menu change up at McDonald’s will also include items that will be available across the UK, such as the return of The Spicy Chicken McNuggets, The Fajita Chicken One, Chilli Cheese Bites and the Milky Way McFlurry.

New items include the Jaffa Cakes McFlurry as the ice cream is swirled with chocolate covered shortcake pieces and topped with orange sauce.

Plus, McDonald’s is introducing customisable drinks for the first time in the UK.
Customers will be able to add a pump of syrup to Sprite Zero with the two options Green Apple or Mango & Passionfruit. Perhaps that will sweeten the blow of the Steakhouse Stack being a regional exclusive.
