A sex therapist has opened up on her profession, revealing all the ins-and-outs of the gig, including how much she charges for her services.
Kaly Miller turned heads after making an appearance on This Morning on Tuesday (27 January), as she told all about her role as a 'sex surrogate'.
The 52-year-old explained that she engages in sexual therapy with other people, with the profession rising to prominence in 2025 due to Channel 4's reality TV show Virgin Island.
Surrogate partners will sleep with clients and engage in intimacy to help them feel more comfortable in the bedroom, though Kaly previously worked as a remedial sports massage therapist.
Advert
Kaly explained that she had studied psychosexuality, admitting that she realised 'how much she didn't know' about her 'own humanity' in her late 30s.

After seeing an advert for 'open-minded body workers', she dove in head first and has remained on the path since.
Having slept with over 400 clients, Kaly said that many of them are now married or have their own relationships.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she admitted: "For the past seven years I’ve worked without supervision and have my own practice, The Naked Room."
Kaly then explained how much she charges for sessions, saying: "My prices start from £250 for an hour-long, in-person session, going up to £1,250 for a five-hour session."
She added that when a potential client reaches out, they'll have a free 'exploratory' Zoom call, to establish what issues they have and if she is comfortable and happy with their understanding of what she offers.
"There is no guarantee I will agree to take on a client and I have turned people away, including a man who joined the Zoom call naked," Kaly admitted.

She went on: "Once I have agreed to work with someone, the progress is based on the individual, though I like to have a minimum of three Zoom calls before meeting in person.
"I always meet clients at a hotel. They pay for all travel and accommodation but I choose the venue, one that feels safe and professional. I always use condoms, everyone must provide a recent, clear STI test and complete consent forms."
The sex surrogate added that her 'safety is paramount', placing a tracking device on her phone and checking in with loved ones once she gets home.
While on the morning talk show, Kaly revealed why she got into the job in the first place, mentioning her first-ever client.
Describing them as 'incredible', but also 'shy' and 'very awkward', she said they were in their mid-60s, recalling: "I asked, 'Why are you here? What brought you to this?' And I didn't expect the depth of the answer, 'I don't want to die without knowing what love feels like.'"
Kaly had a partner when she started in the profession and while many expect there to be a sense of jealousy, she said that they understood her work.
She claimed that 'they cannot question what I’m doing' because 'my journey is their journey'.
