The manager of a legal brothel has spoken about their biggest group of clients, and it may shock you.
Despite being the world's oldest profession, sex work continues to be a controversial career path, but according to Catherine De Noire, there's no shame in it if you do it right.
The former PhD student has a degree in psychology and now uses it to manage her own brothel. Apparently, it's needed to provide emotional support for the sex workers, with Catherine now managing this specific establishment, which has remained unnamed, for around a decade.
She has previously told LADbible that married men are one of the brothel's most common visitors, claiming that loneliness, a lack of physical intimacy and a want to explore their fantasies are leading reasons for this.

But there's a group of clients whom she brands as 'show-offs' for good reason.

Speaking to Metro, Catherine admitted that she didn't think this business 'could be done ethically' but found that the right treatment of workers and not taking percentages of their earnings is the way forward.
While she has had her fair share of 'bizarre' stories in the business, she's definitely a veteran in the realm and has revealed that British men are one of the brothel's biggest clients.
As one of the biggest in Europe, there's no surprise that around 500-1,000 people visit in a day.

She revealed: "We have guys coming in that are virgins and lose their virginity, We have widows, guys that are separated from their wives, married men, rich men, and men who have saved for their visit."
Catherine said that the pool of clients may vary, but said that it's easy to identify British men, adding: "They come here for their stag parties and they aren’t very popular because they get so drunk. They often wear penis costumes or dress as women, and find it hilarious.
"After many years, I don’t find it so funny anymore. They’re wild and like to drink and party."
Apparently, once they get into the brothel and into rooms with the sex workers, that confidence dies down and they become 'pretty calm and super shy'.

"They come in here saying 'I’m going to f**k everyone' and 'I’m so good in bed', but I hear their version of the story and the sex workers," she recalls.
But that's not all, as the brothel manager continued: "The British guys will say 'I destroyed her, she was screaming' and then I’ll speak to the sex worker and she’ll say he lasted one minute - they just like to show off."
The brothel is open for 19 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, and it works through a simple model.
Sex workers pay £173 for a room for the day, which is the only money the brothel makes from them, and it's up to them to charge whatever they please, for whatever services they want.
There are even alarms in each room which can be reached by security guards in just eight seconds, thanks to monthly drills.

While some sex workers may not be used to the system, Catherine says that they 'need to set the boundaries' and 'do all the talking', with management staying away from the exchange of services themselves.
They simply stand in front of the rented room, with men who have paid €20 (£17) to enter, choosing who they please.
