Four key lifestyle changes to make men last longer in bed without pills revealed

If you want to last longer without Viagra, then here's how you do it

The question of how to last longer in the bedroom is one men have been seeking an answer for since the dawn of time.

In more recent years, we've found some solutions to this issue, though they do involve popping pills, injecting your ding-a-ling with something or thinking about unpleasant things to delay the moment it happens.

However, it is possible to overdose on Viagra, and not every gentleman wants to inject their equipment with something, so some alternative methods are worth trying.

According to some research, the average woman would like sex to last for 25 minutes and 51 seconds, which seems precise, but the average man can last between 14 and 16 minutes depending on age.

Evidently, there's a disconnect here, but for men who want to increase their time, there are some lifestyle changes the experts reckon you could pull off.

Get some exercise

If you want to avoid blowing your beans too soon, then studies indicate living a healthy lifestyle with exercise can help avoid premature ejaculation.

It's seen as one of the more effective ways to boost performance in the bedroom without running into the problem of having to take pills or inject anything.

Researchers found that running for 30 minutes five times a week had about as much of a positive impact as taking the drug dapoxetine, which is approved in many countries as a preventative against premature ejaculation.

Other things suggested include doing yoga, Kegel exercises, and pelvic floor workouts, which could really help you boost your bedroom time.

Professor Lee Smith of Anglia Ruskin University said: "Given that drugs often have side effects, it appears that after all, the best medicine for avoiding premature ejaculation may well lie in exercise, and this possibility requires larger studies and further investigation."

Sex, sans drugs and alcohol

It's the rock and roll lifestyle, but it can absolutely kill your ability to perform in the bedroom.

We're trying to figure out how to last longer in bed without the help of drugs, but there are some which will leave you as limp as a wet noodle.

A study published by the National Institute of Health warns that substance abuse can lead to erectile dysfunction, while alcohol makes it more difficult to maintain an erection, which means your time having sex can drop precipitously to zero.

Drinking lots of alcohol can impair nerve function, which means you're just not at the top of your game when attempting to perform, so why would you be posting a personal best time under such circumstances?

Avoid stress

This one is a major hard-on killer; your mental health is deeply connected to your sexual performance, as you can be left suffering from anxiety, which prevents you from ejaculating.

Struggling to perform can then leave you feeling even worse about yourself, which only spirals the problem.

In today's world, avoiding stress is easier said than done since there are so many sources of it bombarding you from all directions.

But if you can get yourself to a position where you're less stressed and in a good headspace, then you'll have a better chance of being the sexual dynamo you can be.

Lines of communication

This is the one the experts are always telling you to get on top of if you want to improve your sex life.

If you can f**k someone, then you can sure as sugar communicate your needs, desires and anxieties with them to achieve a happier outcome for you both.

Have a chat with your partner about how your sex life is going, figure out how long they want to be badoinking for and how long you can usually go.

Whomever you're shacking up with may prefer something different compared to how long the average person wants their bedroom activities to go, so figure out which page each of you is on and how to get to the same one.

Listen to your partner during the act as well; it's always handy to get some real-time feedback.
