It seems like it’s finally time LADs - after months and months of talk and viral videos making our mouths water, another of the US’ top fast-food chains is set to open.
Joining the string of American chicken restaurants and flapping its wings over to the UK, Raising Cane’s will be opening its first spot in London.
Yep, that chicken fingers and toast place where people seem to dunk fried crispy meat into huge cups of creamy-looking sauce. Ok, not everyone does that but it’s in the viral videos.
Down in the capital, people have spotted Raising Cane branding up outside a spot at 22 Coventry Street in Piccadilly Circus.

And while there is the catch that there’s no definite opening date just yet, the restaurant says the UK Flagship will mark the start of several openings.
Raising Cane’s UK move was confirmed back in September 2025 and its site currently says the central London branch is scheduled to open late this year.

xIn promising news for the rest of the country too it says it’s just ‘the beginning of our journey in Europe’ as it adds: “With several restaurants to follow in areas around The Strand, Oxford Circus, Paddington and The Southbank, and Drive-Thru locations across greater London and beyond.”
In case you’ve made it this far and still don’t actually know what the craic is with Raising Cane’s, it’s a hugely popular chain in the US, beloved for its special ‘secret’ Cane’s Sauce, Chicken Fingers and buttery slabs of Texas Toast.
Raising Cane’s has a whole host of celebrity fans and Brits visiting the US will quickly take to the likes of TikTok to document their first taste.
There’s also a few spots in the Middle East such as in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Other iconic items shown off on the menu include the Creamy Coleslaw, lemonade, Crinkle-Cut Fries.

Reacting to this upcoming London opening (where there has already been the likes of Dave’s Chicken, Wingstop, Popeyes, Slim Chickens and Chick-fil-A setting up shop) fans are already anticipating long queues.
One put on Reddit: “Can’t wait for the TikToks of a 90-minute queue.”
While others hyped up: “For what it's worth I had Raising Canes last year and I was actually mad at how good it was.”
“Drean come true,” another said as a third echoed: “NO WAY LET’S GOOO!!!”
“Y’all don’t know how GOOD canes is,” a fourth put.
But some slammed: “We already got chicken shops in London. I think that’s enough.”
