A swinger has responded to a couple who claimed to have their own exclusive club which bans 'ugly people' from joining.
Claiming to be sex-positive, couple Tanya and Ashley Marum married in 2019 before venturing into the non-monogamous lifestyle in recent years.
Following an appearance on on the Channel 4 hit show Open House: The Great Sex Experiment, the pair have remained in the public eye.
Recently, they claimed to have their own private club for like-minded people in what Tanya called 'an accepting community'.

However, they claim that they vet people who join because they 'don't want people there who the majority would think are unattractive'.
"We want to try to get people to come that they might not be your type but they're nice looking and take care of themselves," they said in a recent controversial interview.

Now, it looks like some disgruntled members of the community have responded, as they claim that their comments aren't representative of the lifestyle at all.
Given that the couple praised how 'accepting' people are, many have found it ironic that they're discriminating against appearance.

TikTok user @red_ammunition_1 posted a video in response to their comments, explaining: "I own a club so I am in a position to speak. People are not vetted on how they look. I would close the doors before I allowed that to happen."
She said that the couple 'think that they're all that', but added: "You don't own a club, darling, you might have a few friends that you go to clubs with and you hire a club, you don't own one."
Kerry went on: "Secondly, you both ain't all that OK, and thirdly, people don't get vetted on looks in the lifestyle.
"People like you are really putting a bad name out there and I'm gonna personally pre-bar you from my club. You won't have a host in my club and all you are doing is making sure that other people feel that they can't go into the lifestyle."

The swingers' club owner said that she coaches people to accept how they look as they are welcome into the lifestyle regardless, while they're 'doing the exact opposite'.
"You're giving the lifestyle a bad name. The lifestyle is about everybody being on a leveller. The lifestyle is about welcoming anybody regardless of shape, colour, size, background. It's not about picking and choosing people," Kerry said.
She sent a scathing message out to them, telling them that they simply don't know what they're talking about.
"Tanya gives advice on the lifestyle, when you are picking and choosing who you feel can go in. What's ugly to a person and what's ugly to another person? I'm totally in shock," the club owner admitted.
Kerry added that they're now being trashed in WhatsApp groups by 'real' swingers as she vowed to 'stay away from your events with a 10 foot pole', hoping that people don't go to their events as a result.
