This Angry Feline Might Be The World's New 'Grumpy Cat'

Meet Louis, a six-year-old Persian cat who might just be the perfect feline to fill the boots of the recently-passed Grumpy Cat (aka Tardar Sauce).

Louis, from Austin, Texas, can't help but look permanently annoyed - whether he's playing with his furry pal, four-year-old Monae, or snuggling with owner Michelle Axis.

Medical scribe Michelle, 26, said: "Louis is a full breed Persian. People often ask if he has a genetic disorder because they think his facial features are an exception, but he is completely normal.

"People usually react saying he looks like a human old man!

"They love his big 'marble eyes' that he squints often."

Part of the reason behind Louis' grumpiness might be his love-hate relationship with Monae, a Lynx Point Siamese.

In fact, Michelle admitted Monae's the one who's always had the upper hand over poor Louis.

Michelle continued: "When we got Monae she was a baby and Louis was a full grown cat, and yet she bullied him for two months straight.

Following the death of Tardar Sauce, who passed away earlier this month, many of America's cats are battling it out to be the nation's new Grumpy Cat.

The original Grumpy Cat was just seven when she died 'at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha'.

Breaking the news to the world, her owners revealed that despite efforts to save her, she encountered complications from a urinary tract infection which became 'too tough for her to overcome'.

"We are unimaginably heartbroken to announce the loss of our beloved Grumpy Cat," her owners said in a statement.

"Despite care from top professionals, as well as from her very loving family, Grumpy encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection.

"Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world - even when times were tough.

"Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere."
