Jackass star Bam Margera on run from police after arrest warrant issued for 'physical confrontation'

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jackass star Bam Margera, who is now reportedly on the run.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jackass star Bam Margera, who is now reportedly on the run.

The former Jackass star reportedly 'fled into a wooded area' and, as per the Pennsylvania State Police's release, 'has not been located at this time'.

The release details: "On April 23 at 11:00am, troopers from the PSP Avondale Station responded to the 400 block of Hickory Hill Road, in Pocopson Township, Chester County, for a reported disturbance.

"The investigation determined Brandon 'Bam' Margera, age 43, of Thornton, PA, was involved in a physical confrontation with the victim, who suffered minor injuries.

"[...] An arrest warrant out of District Court 15-3-04 in Kennett Square has been issued for Margera. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact PSP Avondale at the non-emergency number of 610-268-2022."

This incident marks a growing list of times Margera has come into contact with the police this year, such as when he was arrested and taken into custody last month over an alleged domestic violence incident with a woman.

The stunt performer and TV personality was taken to the Vista Detention Facility on a 'charge of corporal injury on a current or former spouse, cohabitant, dating partner or fellow parent'.

Margera's former co-stars - the 43-year-old having been fired from Jackass Forever - have previously spoken out in concern for the skateboarder and his mental wellbeing amid his battles with addiction.

Earlier this year, Steve-O responded to an Instagram post by Margera - which saw him attacking Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine - commenting: "You’re dying, brother, and it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you."

In a podcast, Steve-O opened up further: "I posted this comment on Bam’s Instagram because I had just had him on tour with me for 10 days, we did nine shows together, he was really pretty great the whole time, and the whole time he was telling me ‘Dude will you reach out to [Bam’s former partner] Nicky and see if I can spend the day with Phoenix?’.

"Sure enough, on that last day Bam was reunited with his son, we all spent the day together [and] it was a great day, we did the last show that night and it was a big deal because Bam had been practising opening up the show with me.

"Not only did he go out on stage by himself he brought his five-year-old boy with him, and it was this heart-warming wonderful thing.

"For him to go and leave the theatre that night and come like four, five, six in the morning he’s posting hateful stuff about Knoxville and Tremaine, it’s like ‘really dude?’ You know what that means every time.

"He admitted that it was because he was drunk.

"I was so bummed. I was equally as disappointed as I was unsurprised. It also felt like I beared [...] some responsibility…"
