Bam Margera has explained why he doesn't plan on filming any new stunts for the upcoming movie.
Johnny Knoxville got fans excited when he revealed on his Instagram that a much-riskier fifth instalment of the Jackass franchise is set to drop this summer.
"Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang," he penned.
"We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!! We will see you in theatres 26 June.

"More to come but wanted you to hear it from us first!!"
Despite receiving a thumbs up from the community, including Steve-O who commented, 'Yeah dude!!!', it seems Margera has still not got over being cut from Jackass Forever.
The OG cast member - who breached contract from failed numerous drug tests - sued Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and Paramount for wrongful termination, though the lawsuit was later dropped following a private settlement.

Chatting to TMZ, the 46-year-old admitted: "If you had a laundry list of the chain of horrible events of the two years of Covid that they put me through, spending my own money at an alarming rate for therapists, doctors and treatment and all this only to sit me down and tell me you're not in the movie and you're not getting five million dollars... I watch Dateline and people kill people for a whole lot less."

He continued: "I have a lot of PTSD from it all and just having the title now of 'ex-Jackass star Bam Margera,' I have to live with that.
"The humiliation, the abandonment and just the embarrassment of it all, I had to let it go."
Although Margera appeared to be in a much better place, he said he doesn't plan on joining up with the crew for one last dance.
"They did ask me," he revealed.
"They said we're going to sift through a lot of old footage to try to create something new and I said, 'Hell yeah, go for it.'"

"Because I remember filming so much crazy s**t that never made it to the movie simply because it was just too long or too gnarly.
"But, I mean, I said yeah. Have at it."
He reiterated that he doesn't need to 'film anything new and I don't want to' because he is 'too hurt by it'.
"I've just accepted the fact that I don't want anything to do with it anymore. Only time will tell, but at this time, I don't want to do anything," Margera admitted.

Steve-O, meanwhile, told the outlet that there was 'absolutely' a path back for him if he changed his mind.
"There's still some stuff that needs to be worked out, but there's nothing that would be better than a full-circle redemption, triumphant return, and for us to ride off into the sunset on a win -- all of us together," he said.
