Bam Margera has revealed that he was pronounced dead after suffering from Covid. Listen to him open up about the ordeal:

The Jackass star spoke about his near-death experience on Steve-O's Wild Ride! podcast this week and said he suffered a bout of seizures last month.

Speaking to his pal, the 43-year-old explained that he was at a party when he suddenly took a turn for the worse.

He recalled: "I basically was pronounced dead on Elvis' birthday December 8th, did not know that I had like gnarly Covid, my body was shutting down and I went into four seizures."

Bam said the seizures lasted between 10 and 20 minutes and that he almost bit his tongue off.

"I bit my tongue so hard it was like nearly falling off, it got so swollen and puffy it wouldn't fit in my mouth and I was drinking the infected blood which gave me pneumonia as well," said.

It got so bad that the skateboarder ended up on life support.

Bam said: "I woke up five days later thinking I was there for a couple hours, they're like, 'Dude you've been here for nearly a week. We tried to take the tube out, and you weren't breathing on your own'.

"So I spent eight days in there."

Following his ordeal, Bam took to Instagram, posting a photo of him from hospital.

After being released, he shared another post, thanking his family and friends for their support.

"I’m out," he put. "Thank you to my friends, family and you for the love, support and prayers."

Bam lost his best friend Ryan Dunn when the fellow Jackass star died in a car crash in 2011.

Bam's mum, April, said she warned Dunn that he would die in a crash years before the tragic incident happened.

Dunn was just 34 years old when he and Jackass production assistant Zachary Hartwell died.

Speaking during a 2017 Vice documentary, Epicly Later'd, April, who confirmed Dunn's death publicly, said she had previously warned him about his driving.

She said: "I always said to Ryan, ‘Dude you’re going to die in a car crash if you don’t slow down, you drive like a fricking maniac’.

"He said, ‘You forgot one thing Ape - fiery, a fiery car crash’."
