Mia Khalifa Announces Engagement To Swedish Chef Robert Sandberg

Mia Khalifa has announced her engagement to Swedish chef Robert Sandberg.

The former porn star-cum-sports broadcaster said yes to the big question on Thursday, though Robert said his wife-to-be nearly accidentally foiled his romantic plot.

In an Instagram post, he said: "We went to Chicago this weekend and had a wonderful dinner at Smyth. I proposed to @miakhalifa and she said YES!

"The ring was hidden in a bowl of dried ingredients and came out as a 'new serving'. Mia was too curious and to eager to taste so she started to eat the inedible ingredients.

"I told her not do it and then I put the ring on the finger. I love you so much:heart:"

So it was a close shave there for the lovebirds.

The Lebanese-born star seemed excited to say the least by the proposal, and said in a post of her own that she didn't see it coming.

She said: "Thank you a million times over for the entire team at @smythchicago for helping @robertsandberg propose :sob::hearts: this trip and dinner was supposed to celebrate him getting his visa!

"Robert has planted the seed so deep in my mind for so long that he hates restaurant proposals so I never, EVER, saw this coming. I love y'all so much! Thank you!"

Evidently, the 26-year-old was keen to boast of her engagement, flaunting her engagement ring in her Instagram story by sharing a series of pictures in which her diamond-clad hand performed menial chores, such as eating pizzas and making coffees. Very subtle, Mia.

This will be the second time Pornhub's formerly number one rated porn star has been married, who got divorced from her first husband in 2016.

It has been a busy start to 2019 for Mia, who underwent surgery last month to repair a breast implant that was damaged by a stray hockey puck last summer.

Following the successful operation, she expressed her gratitude towards her new fiance, who was by her side throughout.

She said: "I am so lucky to have these two amazing men taking care of me during my recovery. Between @robertsandberg's sweet touch and love, and @jerfsolo's comedic relief, I almost wish I could have surgery every month just to get to spend this down time with my favourite boys. I love y'all so much. Thank you for taking such good care of me in your own ways."
