Cadbury is now making orange-flavoured versions of its Dairy Milk chocolate buttons and fingers.

Following on from the hype that surrounded the return of the almighty Twirl Orange, the new additions to the chocolate maker's citrus range is likely to be welcomed by Cadbury fans.

If the new creations sound like a bit of you, they are available in Londis and Budgens stores and will be on sale in One Stop shops later on this month. They will then be on sale in Tesco in September - the exact date hasn't been confirmed just yet.

The news was shared by excited social media accounts, including the oracle that is the NewFoodsUK Instagram page.

In a statement, Cadbury said: "It's true! For the first time ever, our fans can now enjoy Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Giant Buttons and Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Fingers.

"The new range is currently available in Londis and Budgens stores. The range will be available in One Stop stores from mid-August and in Tesco from September. Watch this space for more information as we get closer to the launch."

And the reviews of the new items did not disappoint, with the orange-flavoured Orange Giant Buttons going down particularly well with the food bloggers.

It's the latest of the confectionery company's orange range after its Twirl Orange launched over the last few days.

That's two tasty chocolate sticks (or three, if you're this guy) wrapped in Cadbury milk chocolate and infused with a delicious orange essence. So good, one customer described it as 'better than Terry's Chocolate Orange'.

Radhika Pai, Brand Manager for Cadbury at Mondelez said: "We are very excited to bring limited-edition Twirl Orange back in the UK after the positive response it received last year."
