Ever Wondered How You Can Get A Nando's Black Card?

Numerous celebrities, including Ed Sheeran, have been spotted with the cards over the years.

You may have heard of the Nando's Black Card - officially known as the High Five Card - an elusive freebie handed out by the restaurant chain which entitles its owner to free food and drink for them and some pals.

But how do you go about getting one? With great difficulty by the sounds of things.

Firstly, for those not in the known the Nando's High Five Card basically offers unlimited amounts of free meals to its owner for one year.

The card reads: "As a valued friend of Nando's, the person named on this card is entitled to one starter, one combo meal, one dessert and one soft drink - along with up to four friends. Sorry no free alcoholic drinks." And they can pop in for a cheeky Nando's whenever the mood takes them. Not bad, eh?

However, Nando's has always been tight-lipped about the scheme, the chicken company's official website claims: "You've heard rumours about it - a card that magically provides free Nando's for a whole year.

"The mythical Nando's High Five card - can you be sure it really exists?

"Or, like unicorns and Robin Hood, is it just a legend - one created by Nando's to give fans a holy grail to yearn for?"

But, of course, we know they exist because a bunch of famous Nando's fans, including Ed Sheeran and Vernon Kay, have shown theirs off over the years.

So, how do you go about getting yourself one? Well, according to FoodTribe, you'll need to be in a 'position of influence' and not shy about sharing your love for Nando's publicly.

In fact, it's quite likely Sheeran got his own High Five card after he performed the 'Nando's Skank' back in 2010 alongside Example - who claims to be one of the very first people to get one.

Sheeran came up with the lyrics: "Yo, and we eat chicken for free / Cause he's got a Black Card you see".

And low and behold, he's now got his very own Black Card to brag about.

But it doesn't matter how influential you are, one thing Nando's will not stand for is someone begging for one.

The company's website explains: "We can tell you for certain is that no-one who's requested a card, no matter how politely, has ever received one. Asking for one is simply the biggest taboo - a definite no no."

LADbible has contacted Nando's for comment - but has made it clear that we are absolutely not on the blag for Black Cards.
