And there's even more good news, because KFC is participating in the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme, meaning that between Monday and Wednesday in August you'll be able to get your hands on one for just £2.99.
The bucket goes on sale from Monday 24 August until Sunday 4 October, so you've got plenty of time to get yourself one if you fancy.
Ahead of the re-launch, KFC have said: "Remember February? Feels a long time ago. It was back then (in those face mask-free days) that we surprised the nation with the release of the 80 Piece Popcorn Chicken Bucket.
"Well it was such a hit that we've decided to bring it back again. From next Monday (24 August) onwards, you and your mates can enjoy 80 pieces of our 100 percent chicken breast Popcorn Chicken for just £5.99.
"That's 80 pieces of bite-sized fun to share... the only question to ask yourself is who are the clucky friends you'll split it with?" Personally, I wouldn't be sharing it with anyone at all, but maybe I'm just greedy.
The mega bucket of chicken was previously on sale earlier this year and proved a huge hit with fried-chicken fans who have been begging for it to make its return ever since.
It was pulled from menus slightly early in March despite its overwhelming popularity.
But speaking at the time KFC hinted that it wasn't the last we'd be seeing of the bargain bucket.
A spokesperson told LADbible: "We knew our Popcorn Chicken was loved, but we never anticipated quite how loved our 80 Piece Popcorn Sharing Bucket would be! It was always a limited edition and it's now been taken off our menus, but watch this space... we're hoping to bring it back soon."
And now it looks like the time is here. Happy eating!
