KFC and Pizza Hut have joined forces to make National Pizza Day dreams come true with a gravy and popcorn chicken treat for the taste buds.

It's a match made in food heaven. The two fast food joints have teamed up to celebrate National Pizza Day (9 February) with the ultimate finger lickin' dish: The KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza.

The pizza is available until 16 February.

This mouth-watering pizza has been created using KFC's iconic Gravy on a Classic Crust base, with mozzarella cheese topped with fan-favourite Popcorn Chicken and sprinkled with sweetcorn. Now, that's what we're talking about.

Pizza Hut Delivery and KFC and teased fans with the collaboration last year and after calls from the nation to make their pizza dreams come true, the creation is coming for two weeks only.

Pizza lovers will be able to choose between a large classic and a large classic with no garlic. Both will set you back £18.99.

KFC's famous gravy and popcorn chicken will feature on the pizza.

But you better act fast because it will be available online via Pizza Hut Delivery from the 3 to 16 February, and is included as an option in all large pizza deals.

So, how can you get a slice of the action? Visit PizzaHut.co.uk to place your order, but be quick before another one bites the crust.

KFC vegan burger is also available.

If the meaty pizza doesn't tickle your fancy but you could still murder a KFC, you can opt for their vegan burger which has been brought back by popular demand after it sold out in just three days.

The burger features all the famous 11 herbs and spices (the ones that have been going strong since 1952), but instead of using chicken there's a Quorn-based vegan burger.

The traditional mayonnaise in the chicken counterpart will be replaced with a vegan version and the iceberg lettuce will remain the same...

It will set you back £3.99 without any sides. Judging by the month-long trial last summer that saw the burger clocking up 500 percent more sales than the launch of a normal chicken burger, it will remain a popular choice.

Ira Dubinsky, from KFC UK and Ireland, told Metro: "The Colonel was all about welcoming everyone to his table - now vegans, flexitarians and our fried chicken fans can all enjoy the taste of our Original Recipe together.

"We've worked hard to perfect the flavour and make a Vegan Burger the Colonel would be proud of. It's the flavour of KFC, just with zero chicken."
