Tesco Is Selling Rhubarb Flavoured Custard Creams And Yoghurt Jammie Dodgers

Shoppers have been thrown into a state of hysteria after discovering that they can now buy rhubarb flavoured Custard Creams and brand new Jammie Dodgers that have yoghurt in the middle.

OK, hysteria might be a bit of an overstatement, but it's fair to say that people are pretty keen on the idea.

Both biscuits, which are absolutely staples of the Great British biscuit barrel, have been given something of an overhaul to make them ready for the summer.

Basically, the Jammie Dodgers that we know and love are round and contain jam. These guys are now rectangular shaped and have yoghurt too.

What's not to love?

As well as that, we've got some Tesco own brand Custard Creams that are made all the more tasty with the introduction of a load of rhubarb flavouring.

Again, sounds great, right?

As of yet, the reports are unconfirmed. Tesco perhaps hasn't started selling them online just yet. Maybe they're yet to arrive in some stores, who knows?

They've been pictured and sighted in the local Tesco store of an Instagram food blogger called Kevssnackreviews, though.

According to the Instagram reports, we're going to have to hand over just £1.50 for the Jammie Dodgers. That's not too bad.

For that meagre outlay, you'll get five individually wrapped (not very environmentally friendly, by the sounds of it) packets in the box.

Each one contains two individual biscuits. Perfect for a lunchbox for the week if that's your thing.

The Custard Creams with added rhubarb have also yet to be sighted in the wild by someone who doesn't have a snack reviewing Instagram account.

Luckily, Kevssnackreviews has our back covered once again.

They've been reported as selling in a Tesco store for 40p per packet. Decent.

That's just 4p more than you'd pay for a pack of regular Custard Creams. Why not push the boat out a bit?

Followers of the account are keen, to say the least.

One said: "This seems so obvious - why did no one think of it sooner?"

Another snack fan commented: "These sound amazing! I don't like actual rhubarb but like the sweets."

As for the Jammie Dodgers, one follower of the account claimed that they'd even managed to lay their hands on them.

The person said: "Tried these - whole packet was consumed, they are like a soft jam and cream, absolutely god level".

There you have it. Get down to Tesco and start protesting until they produce the goods.
