The nation's favourite bakery has provided us with a first look at its festive menu and when we can get our hands on a Festive Bake.

For some people, 'The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear', as Will Ferrell's Buddy the Elf points out.

For us Brits, however, we'd much rather tuck into a pasty than start the Michael Bublé' Christmas revival playlist.

I mean some would argue there is room for both.

Anyway, not only does the famous Festive Bake make a return, we are also getting some new additions too.

Without further ado, the new menu is as follows:

1) The Festive Bake, £1.80

The Festive Bake, £1.80.
Greggs

Greggs refers to this creation as the most 'Christmassy thing about Christmas'.

The pastry consists of cooked chicken, sage and onion stuffing and cooked sweetcure bacon, covered in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.

2) The Vegan Festive Bake, £1.80

The plant-based alternative is filled with Quorn pieces, sage and onion stuffing and vegan bacon crumb, finished with a sage and cranberry sauce.

3) Vegan Turkey-Free & Stuffing Festive Baguette, £3.50

Sage and onion plant-based goujons are stuffed into a white baguette along with onion gravy and a classic cranberry and port sauce.

4) Pigs Under Blanket Baguette, £3.50

The bakery calls this dish 'the best bit of Christmas dinner popped into a baguette' and it's hard to argue with them.

The baguette contains pork sausages with smoked sweetcure bacon topped with pork, onion & sage stuffing, garnished with cranberry and port sauce.

5) Christmas Lunch Soup, £2.30

Christmas Lunch Soup - 165 calories, £2.30.
Greggs

For those who love a hearty soup to warm them up on a cold Winter's day, Greggs is offering 'Christmas in a cup'.

Made with smoked bacon, pork sausage, chicken, turkey, sage & onion stuffing and vegetables, all blended with a mix of herbs and spices.

6) Mint Mocha, £2.30 / Mint Hot Chocolate, £2.30 / Salted Caramel Latte, £2.30

The special edition hot drinks are all topped with cream and a range of festive sprinkles.

If the menu still isn't tickling your fancy, Greggs has promised dessert lovers something to look forward to later in the month.

From 24 November, the bakery has promised Christmas cakes and Mince Pies galore for those who prefer something sweet.

To give the new menu a try, you can either go in-store or choose the option to Click + Collect via the Greggs app.

There's also Just Eat if you want it delivered straight to your door.

All items on the menu will be available in Greggs nationwide from Thursday 10 November.
