People are willing to do all sorts of things in the name of science and one doctor has proven that by injecting just one half of her forehead with botox.
While we've probably all seen that one lad on Instagram who has been working out just one side of his body, Dr Bita Farrell has been focusing more on neurotoxins than working out in the gym in her videos.
Having previously shown off the effects of injecting one side of her face with botox, the renowned doctor from California has now released a new video which shows the impact of using it on her forehead and eyebrows.
Taking to YouTube shorts, the aesthetic doctor offered herself up as a 'lab rat' once again to test what really changes when we inject ourselves with botox, something which millions of people do around the world.

She said: "This is my treated side and this is my non-treated side. Neuro-modulators such as botox can be used to shape the brows and give them a nice lift and this is done by understanding the function of the muscles.
"Muscles either pull up or they pull down and when we allow the muscles that pull up to dominate you can create a nice lift. For example this is the glabella area and it's this area over here pulls the brows in and down to create a frown. This side can contract this side has been injected and it's relaxed.
"You can see that when this is injected over here it can create a little lift now this area over here pulls the lateral brow and the corners of the eyes in and down. You can see that when this is injected over here it can no longer pull in and down and it can create a nice lift, it can even relieve some mild upper eyelid heaviness or skin sagging. You can see that this side looks a lot heavier."
As you can see in her video, Dr Farrell's botox injections have certainly done a trick, even if it does leave the right eyebrow perhaps giving off a permanent look of surprise.
It's not the only time that we've seen botox have a significant impact, as a pair of twins also decided to do a experiment with one of them using it and the other avoiding it, to see how different they looked after a few years.
There's no doubting that it can be truly transformative, so long as someone does a decent job of it, as you could suffer some serious side effects should you visit someone less professional.
The doctor's video emphasises the difference it can make but just make sure it's done safely.
