The adult content business is one that more and more people are seemingly getting involved in as a quick way to make money.
You only need to ask former Scottish teacher Yasmina Khan, who was landing herself £60k a month with her content on OnlyFans, while spending her days educating in a secondary school, to understand why some people see it as get-rich-quick scheme.
Despite the UK government are planning to introduce new adult content laws next month which will seriously limit how many people access these 18+ sites, being an adult content creator can be extremely lucrative.

While Khan has established herself as one of the top names in the business, she has to face the many drawbacks that come with being a pornstar, with many of her other adult stars opening up on the serious challenges they face in their own lives and relationships because of their jobs.
Perhaps the biggest problem for Khan, who is also known as The Bengali Goddess, is the medical conditions she has been diagnosed with, which make sexual activity painful for her.
On Instagram, she explained that she has a 'tilted cervix and a condition called adenomyosis', which causes her a lot of pain, while she was also diagnosed with endometriosis five years ago.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she said: “I was always in pain, but the doctors and my mum told me to deal with it not knowing I had an issue, but five years ago I had keyhole surgery to see what was going on down there and that's when they found the endometriosis.

“They brunt it during the surgery, but it always comes back...and a few months later I felt so much worse, started getting ovarian cysts, and every time I started having sex I'd be in pain, during and after, and they (the doctors) said there was nothing they could do.”
And last year, her adenomyosis diagnosis followed, something which sees her suffer from particularly painful periods, pelvic pain, bloating and pain during sex.
According to Mayo Clinic, adenomyosis 'occurs when the tissue that normally lines the uterus (endometrial tissue) grows into the muscular wall of the uterus', causing heavier periods, severe 'knife-like' cramps, and pain during intercourse.
The only known cure for adenomyosis is a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus).

Khan also shared that despite doctors telling her she was 'fine', she felt 'in agony' every time she had sex, which made it hard to do her job.
“I'm in the worst job possible, but it's something I love to do", she said.
“I haven't had sex off camera for along time – I'm always working and broke up with my boyfriend last year, and for me to want to have sex with someone else, I need to feel that connection. The first collab I did this year was with Danny D, and we did two scenes in a day and I was in agony, so much pain."
While most would see that as a sign to find a new job, even struggling so much that she thought she was going to die seemingly hasn't stopped Ms Khan from continuing her career.
She concluded: "I have cut a shoot twice because of the pain where I was in so much agony I thought I was going to die. I was shaking, having cold sweats and felt sick – my body was going through a lot of trauma and it was unbearable."
