Bill Gates Proves He's A Top Xmas LAD As Part Of Reddit's Secret Santa

Call me biased but when it comes to my favourite capitalists, I don't think anyone even comes close to Bill Gates at the top of the list!

Sure, he might have made his billions by squeezing those profit margins and exploiting the labour of his workers like every other card holding member of the Illuminati - but at least he accumulated his vast wealth with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.

If you're after another example of the 62-year-old Microsoft founder's hilarious hijinks, then look no further than Reddit. He's made a tradition of taking part in the website's Secret Santa event and this year was no different.

User VietteLLC, posted a pic of the gifts Gates sent her to RedditGifts on Wednesday.

Viette hopes to own her own cat shelter one day and among the gifts she received were donations to three of her favorite cat shelters, several Dr. Who items, a Dave Matthews Band shirt, a personalized cross-stitch, and an artisanal Austrian snowglobe.

In her post, VietteLLC wrote that she's entered the RedditGifts exchange for years but never expect to be the name that Bill Gates drew.

"As Pusheen was being released from his box, I picked up a letter with a picture, and thought it was SUPER weird that someone was so obsessed with Bill Gates as to send me a photo of him," she explained.

"Then I just caught fragments of the letter all at once - 'a donation has been made', 'bill gate' - and my cat's names. It clicked and I started to burst out loud laughing and crying simultaneously. I was a cliché."
