A family found an unusual message 'from the past' while redecorating their house, but not only that, they were even able to track down the original message writer. That's some dedication.
The Murphy family were taken back in time after stripping the wallpaper in their daughter's new bedroom only to find a poem scrawled on the wall.
After peeling back the paper of their new home in Lancashire, the family found the message which read: "I am here, you are there, separated by time alone. What's it like in the future?
"Or am I the past? The only answer to that - you are my future, I am your past.

"I wish you good day 1975 Eileen Walmsley."
And, thanks to the power of social media, they were able to track down the writer using her last name.
Dad Karl told LancsLive: "It was my daughter who first saw it. We were in my daughter's bedroom and started stripping the first layer of wallpaper when we found it.
"We tried to make it out and I took a picture of it."

The family decided to try and have a go at finding the person who wrote the poem, so shared a photo of the wall on Facebook.
Karl added: "I thought I'll put it on the chat and see if anybody knows her. Another lady came back to me and said 'I know Eileen, I think she's moved away, I'll try and get in contact with her'."
And it wasn't long before 62-year-old Eileen - who now has the surname Palmer - who wrote the message when she was a young teenager.

She told the news outlet: "I was very happy they discovered it.
"I was around 14 or 15 - I vaguely remember writing it. I knew the bedroom was going to be decorated and I thought, you either do something or you don't.
"I was thinking about time and time travel and how we are all connected and I thought, you know I'll write a poem."

The room that Karl's daughter now sleeps in used to be shared by Eileen and her sister.
"I'm glad I did it," she added. "That was our bedroom and we shared the bedroom so it was sort of magical in that way."
