Kids Get Traumatised After Mum Hires Bigfoot For Birthday Party

A group of kids have reacted in horror and screams when seeing who was invited to their birthday party.

Brett usually goes all out for her kids' birthdays and her daughter's sixth party was no exception.

However, when the Oklahoma mum's plans for a big cake fell through, she had to resort to a backup plan to make sure the day was still fun.

Instead of hiring the tooth fairy or Elsa from Frozen, Brett and her husband decided to get Mrs Bigfoot to come to the party.

In a bid to soften the terrifying appearance of the elusive mythical creature, the mum and dad got Bigfoot to wear a blue tutu and come baring birthday balloons.

Clearly none of that worked because the moment the character arrived at the home all hell broke loose.

Brett got Bigfoot to make noise from outside and then peered through the window.

The kids went berserk because they genuinely thought a monster was coming into the home.

Despite the friendly appearance, the children started screaming and crying in the hope it would run away and not eat them.

Brett told 2 News Oklahoma: "We just thought, I mean she came with balloons and a bow and a tutu, so I thought 'oh this will be cute and fun'. Well my kids did not have that reaction."

It was only when the parents went up and gave Mrs Bigfoot a hug that the kids realised the creature was a friend not foe.

Brett warned other parents to maybe take a different approach if they were thinking of bringing Bigfoot to their kid's birthday party.

"I would just recommend it for a good time because obviously by the video my kids thought so too," Brett says. "They all ended up hugging her and taking fun pictures with her, really fun, cute pictures at the end.

"But they don't want her to come back though."

While many people think Bigfoot is nothing but a conspiracy, there was a recent alleged sighting that caused a lot of controversy.

A video was filmed along Cass River in Michigan, US and left many Sasquatch aficionados scratching their heads as to whether it's legit or not.

The short clip, captured by a kayaker, shows a mysterious brown figure wading through the water, appearing to be carrying something in its arms.

But with next to no answers, Bigfoot boffins at the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization (RSMO) have been giving it a good going over.

In another video shared on its YouTube channel, a member of the group says: "I don't know what it is, there are a lot more questions than answers.

"A lot of people think that it's maybe someone with a mosquito net or a face covering.

"There's a side profile screenshot that plainly shows the nose exposed to the air and it's the same colour as the rest of it."

The video is then played over and over again, zoomed in and out and played at different speeds, to try and provide some answers.
