People Are Raising Money To Send A 'Huge Bag Of D**ks' To Craig Kelly

They're sick of getting the Aussie MPs unsolicited text messages so they're sending him he doesn't want.

A group is trying to raise money to send a massive 'bag of d**ks' to the office of Australian MP Craig Kelly.

Mr Kelly has come under fire recently for sending unsolicited text messages to Aussies that essentially slag off the political competition.

"You can never trust the Liberals, Labor or Greens again," the messages state.

The texts are officially sent from the United Australia Party (UAP) but are authorised by Kelly, who is now a member of the UAP after defecting from the Liberal Party.

It's caused quite a stir and people aren't taking too kindly to being bombarded with political messages that seem a bit dodgy.

Well, one group want to send a message back to the MP, however it's not in the form of a text.

C**k Block Craig Kelly is trying to raise upwards of $15,000 to send hundreds of dildos to Mr Kelly's office as a big middle finger to the politician.

They've written on their fundraising site: "Millions of Australians have gotten nuisance texts from Craig Kelly and Clive Palmer's United Australia Party, but can't opt out.

"If we can't stop the UAP texting us with dangerous misinformation, we reckon the next best thing is to deliver Craig a message he can't ignore: a very big bag of d**ks.

"Political parties are exempt from anti-spam laws. Craig Kelly is using this loophole to spread health misinformation that puts everyone at risk."

They've mange to raise a little more than 10 per cent of their goal, raking in $1,600 at the time of writing.

But if you're not too convinced on pledging your money to a practical joke, then you should know that there is some good heartedness in this campaign.

The organisers wrote: "For every d**k we deliver to Craig, we'll donate $7 to a charity immunising people against coronavirus in developing countries.

"If we raise $15,000, we can deliver 1,000 d**ks to Craig and donate the cost of immunising around 1,000 people.

"If for some reason we can't deliver all of the d**ks we'd like to Craig, we'll make sure any unused funds go towards immunising people in developing countries."

Craig Kelly has defended his text messages to the Australian public.

He's previously said he's 'absolutely not' sorry about his texting campaign and insisted that what he's doing is perfectly legal.

More than 8,000 people have lodged a complaint with Australia's communications regulator over the messages.

However, new laws are expected to be proposed next month to stop political parties from being able to spam millions of Australian phones without a limit.
