A woman in the US has used a PowerPoint presentation to tell her parents she's a stripper.
Instead of bringing up the topic in a casual conversation, Lex thought it would be much better if she sat down her mum and dad and went through the finer details of her new career.
She fired up the TV and played her PowerPoint so her parents could be taken on the wild journey.
Lex built it up as a secret they deserved to know but kept the big moment right until the end.

"Before you start worrying, or get excited, this secret pertains to my life, doesn't affect anyone," she started.
The presentation added: "Any guesses you may have, you will be wrong. I'm telling you simply because I want the people I love and trust the most to know what's going on in my life and to have the joy of sharing my journey with you."
She explained that her secret means she's 'talented', 'cool' and 'powerful', however rejected the idea that her secret makes her 'pregnant' or 'in danger'.
Then she got a drumroll going before flicking to the next slide that read: "I'm a stripper! As in I pole dance at a strip club and I love it."

Realising this might spark a whole host of questions from her mum and dad, Lex then brought up an FAQ slide to calm their concerns.
Lex said it's a sex positive environment that allows her to express herself safely.
"It's a performance...the theatrics, if you will," she said.

Then she touched on the subject of safety. Lex said the business that she works at has full anonymity and the Portland strip club scene is very sex positive and isn't something that's dirty, grungy or, more importantly, a hotbed for crime or drugs.
She hilariously then admitted that her new career is the reason why she's been able to 'suspiciously' afford new things.
Lex said she doesn't engage in any other type of sex work and merely dances on stage for money.
She opened up the presentation to questions and her parents sounded like they took it really well.

Her dad had nothing to add but her mum said: "I really appreciate you being so forthright and sharing your life with us...it's powerful."
Lex explained that it's one of the 'funnest' jobs she's ever had and later revealed on TikTok that her dad's only interest was how much money she's making.
"They're seriously the best and earned the trust and respect we share," she added.
