Do you love chicken nuggets, McFlurrys and the thrill of peeling off stickers to find what prize could await you? Well good news, because McDonald's Monopoly is officially on its way back.
Soon enough you could find yourself triumphantly presenting your winning sticker at the counter in exchange for free food, or finally feeling the satisfaction of increasing your property ownership simply by purchasing some tasty food, instead of having to hand over thousands of pounds for a deposit.
McDonald's Monopoly is the highlight of the year for many fans of the fast food restaurant, with many dedicated to collecting properties with the hopes of winning some of the bigger prizes while others are just addicted to the excitement that comes with seeing those fresh black stickers just waiting to be peeled.
As if the game wasn't exciting enough already, McDonald's has actually kicked things up a notch this year by introducing a new twist, known as the 'double peel'.
Promising to 'out-Monopoly, Monopoly', the new feature will allow customers to physically peel the stickers on their order before heading over to the McDonald's app to peel a virtual sticker there.

The app features a digital gameboard and prize wallet, meaning players will have more ways to collect and win than ever before. Using the McDonald's app, players will be able to scan property codes until they get a complete set. Then, each property banked in the Monopoly Wallet will give players another chance to win.
The prizes on offer this year are yet to be revealed, but thankfully there's now only a few weeks to go until Monopoly is back in restaurants, with the game officially kicking off on 7 September.
Both existing and new customers who are signed up to My McDonald’s Rewards will be able to get involved with a free code to play, and those visiting the stores to get involved can get stickers simply by purchasing menu items such as fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurrys.
The more food you buy, the more chances you have to win, with some food items carrying more stickers than others. Customers who choose fries as a side to their meal will get an extra two stickers, while options such as a side salad, vegetable bag or fruit bag will earn customers a whopping three stickers.

Other three-sticker items include the Big Tasty, Chicken Selects, Frozen strawberry lemonade and the Chicken and bacon salad.
