Man Claims He Was 'Hunted' By 'Bigfoot' On His Way Home

A man claims he was once terrorised by an 8ft 'Bigfoot' on his way home, saying he was 'hunted' by something 'twice the size of a bear' during a terrifying 24-hour period.

Bigfoot, also commonly referred to as Sasquatch in Canadian and American folklore, is a large, hairy ape-like creature said to roam about in the woods.

It's essentially not something you want to stumble across - as a man called Travis believes he did one evening in Tennessee, United States.

Sharing his harrowing experience on the Forest Fleur Bigfoot Research podcast, which shares 'scientific evidence that surrounds Bigfoot' while digging deep into North American history, he explained how he was coming home from work late one night when a giant figure suddenly jumped out of a bin.

Travis said: "It didn't take more than two seconds for me to say, 'Well that ain't no bear.'"

It then scrambled up a hill, tearing down 'three nice trees' as it ran off.

He added: "When something is twice the size of a bear you almost know it immediately."

Travis recalled how later that evening he went outside to his porch for a cigarette - which was when the Bigfoot creature reappeared.

He continued: "While I was out there, there were at least three or four trees - and I mean full-sized trees - coming crashing down onto the apartment building.

"It sounded like when you're outside in a thunderstorm... It was obvious that these were telephone pole sized trees, coming down onto the building."

And, believe it or not, that wasn't the end of Travis' surreal encounter with 'Bigfoot'.

The next day, he returned home from work again and parked as close to his apartment as possible so that he could run inside quickly - not taking any chances, this time.

It would appear his instincts had been sensible, as the figure was back, 'waiting' for him on the driveway near his home.

Travis said: "Had I not thought ahead and actually done that, I think something really bad would have happened and I'd have just been a missing person statistic.

"This thing was waiting in the driveway on the path where you would walk down towards my house.

"This giant black shape just stands up out of the bush, and starts moving towards my backyard.

"It was at least eight feet tall, and in my estimation about 800lb, and it was just a giant black shadow.

"This thing could literally just grab one end of my torso and just rip me right in half."

Understandably, the 24 hours of Bigfoot terror left Travis feeling shaken, having been convinced that he was being 'hunted' by the huge creature.

He added: "The one thing you take away from the encounter is the fear factor. People talk about the hairs standing up on the back of your neck...

"I've been afraid, but I've never felt this fear since or before that.

"I was being hunted. It wasn't an encounter for me, it was an occasion of when I had become the hunted."
