TikTok user @reubix_cube shared a video of himself attempting a TikTok dance to Doja Cat's 'Say So'.
He said: "Lmao I'm home alone so I learned a TikTok dance.
"Love you Doja but what has my life come to?"
But many people found they weren't watching the dance moves - having clocked a strange detail on the staircase in the background.
If you look closely around four seconds in to the clip above, you should see something - or someone - appear at the top of the stairs.
One person commented to ask: "DID Y'ALL SEE THAT?? IN THE BACKGROUND?"
@reubix_cube then replied asking: "What am I supposed to be seeing?"
Many people responded to say they'd spotted something poking its head out from the top of his staircase - whether they thought it was a cat, a person or something altogether more supernatural.
One follower commented: "The AMOUNT OF ANXIETY I have from this video. That's someone literally poking their head TO LOOK AT YOU."
Some people speculated that the video may have been staged, finding it a bit suspect that he had specified he was home alone - with one person saying: "OK so the fact that he had to post 'I'm home alone' and doing this oldish dance really makes me feel like it's all staged."
However, others grew more concerned, prompting @reubix_cube to post an update.
Saying he is 'alive and safe', @reubix_cube wrote: "Thank you to everyone who was concerned. I'm kind stomach sick rn and I was in and out of sleep all of last night.
"It's weird to have so much attention on me right now but I have been reading some comments and I'll address questions later on today."
Telling followers to ask questions under the TikTok post, @reubix_cube said he could answer any queries at a later time.
He added: "It's 6am in my corner of the world and I need to catch up on some sleep.
"Sorry if I worried you guys."
@reubix_cube said he would be sharing an update video at some point today to address the many questions he's been inundated with, so be sure to check out his TikTok feed.
